Bastide 1830 is a farmhouse with its own garden and private heated swimming pool. It is modular and can be rented for 1 to 4 bedrooms (each bedroom has its own private bathroom).
For a total of 140 m2 with separate kitchen, dining room, reading room/TV, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
A large terrace allows you to enjoy your meals outside with a superb view of the Grand Luberon.
The 5000 m2 garden overlooks a 2-hectare meadow.

The Bastide 1830 car park has a charging point for electric vehicles.

Fully-equipped self-contained kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, hob, extractor hood, electric coffee machine, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave oven, pressure cooker, crockery and cutlery for 8 people.
Air-conditioned bedroom with 180×200 bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers. Spacious bathroom with double washbasin, walk-in shower and WC.
Separate WC with washbasin.
This part of the house is fully air-conditioned, providing extra comfort during the day in the middle of summer. Nights are naturally cool.
An internal staircase leads to :
1 garden-level master suite with its own terrace: 1 x 160 x 200 bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers,
1 en suite bathroom with bath, 1 washbasin and WC,
1 dressing room.

GARDEN GROUND
The garden level also includes :
– 1 master suite (exposed stone walls) with its own south-facing entrance comprising 1 x 180 by 200 bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and 1 en suite shower room with shower, washbasin and WC.
– 1 bedroom with its own south-facing entrance, comprising 2 single beds (90×200) and 1 en-suite shower room with shower, washbasin and WC.
These 2 bedrooms can be joined together.
-A small room with its own entrance is furnished with a desk and a comfortable office chair. You’ll be able to work from here, and even connect via ethernet.

Cot and high chair available on request. A tumble dryer is available on request in the property’s laundry room.
Fenced swimming pool measuring 8.5 m x 5.5 m, 1.30 m deep. Heated and open from mid-April to the end of October, weather permitting.
The garden at Bastide 1830 is not fenced and pets are not allowed.
In the garden near the parking lot, a shed for storing your electric bicycles.

Brigitte was the perfect host! We loved staying here it was amazing! So peaceful, spacious and just what we needed for our family of 6 plus baby . There was plenty of room and the “chateau” was so big it felt like we all had a house each! We will definitely be back and have recommended this beautiful home to all our friends and family. Cereste is a beautiful French village in the South of France and it is the perfect location to explore other areas in the south of France. Thankyou Brigitte for everything. We had a last minute change of plans and were fortunate to find this lovely gite where we spent a very happy week in the sun lazing around our private pool in this quiet and beautiful area. Brigitte and Jean Louis were the perfect hosts who were able to answer our many questions in English as unfortunately our French is not up to scratch! They were unobtrusive but always on hand if we needed anything. The accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean and has everything needed to live comfortably. Many thanks!

Spencer (La Bastide 1830- 2 bedrooms)
It’s sounds cliched to write « our hosts were so welcoming », however, this is simply the case, l have not stayed at a more hospitable place. Brigitte and Jean-Louis are just great people that clearly enjoy life and helping people experience a great holiday. The property has stunning views for your morning coffee or evening wine. It’s also within driving distance from some amazing towns like lourmarin and Gordes. The house is very peaceful due to its location. Having a car I feel is a must. There is a nice pool on the property too. Cereste is a quiet town (very quiet) but Apt is about 15 mins away for groceries etc. There is a smaller supermarket in cereste so you won’t go without Brigitte is super quick to respond to help with anything you need. Recommend and would go back without question.
