Mas des Lavandes features a large covered terrace with barbecue, deckchairs and wooden garden furniture, including a table for outdoor dining. A private garden with trees and shade extends the terrace, overlooking a large meadow of over 2 hectares.

Le Mas des Lavandes offers all the amenities to make your stay a delightful one.

It’s an 80m2 detached house. The first floor opens onto a vast volume enhanced by the warm tones of the exposed beams, ochre wall paintings, old doors and terracotta floor tiles.

GROUND FLOOR :

Dining/living area: illuminated by a large bay window overlooking the private garden, a small river and the Luberon. It features a round table, a mirror, an antique sideboard, a very comfortable sofa, storage shelves and a fireplace with insert.

American-style kitchen: worktops in small ochre terracotta tiles, fridge with freezer, four-burner gas stove with gas oven and extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine (tumble dryer), electric coffeemaker, electric kettle, toaster, pressure cooker, crockery. Ironing facilities.

An air-conditioned bedroom with a double bed: this is separated from the main room by the staircase under which there is storage space. It is furnished with a queen-size bed (160 cm x 200 cm), an armchair and a closet. Its window offers a lovely view of the covered terrace.

Separate WC with window and washbasin opposite the staircase.

FLOOR:

The mezzanine: features a bookcase, a flat-screen TV corner and a sofa. It’s a warm and intimate place where you can isolate yourself (curtains on the living room and landing door) while still being in the heart of the house.

Bathroom: with washbasin, spacious shower area, shelving and hairdryer. Window with views of the surrounding mountains and the village of Viens.

An air-conditioned bedroom with 1 or 2 beds: equipped with a double bed 180 X200 (hotel-quality mattresses and box springs) that can be converted into two twin beds (90 cm x 200 cm) on request, closet, armchair. This room opens south onto the terrace’s regional tiled roof, with a superb view of the Luberon.

Bedding in the 2 bedrooms is 4-star hotel quality. Each room is spacious enough to accommodate a cot.

This is an ideal home for a family or 2 couples.

We just spent a wonderfully peaceful week at the Mas des Lavandes with our two teenagers. We all loved the pool and mostly had it to ourselves. So great to cool down in while admiring the view. The gîte was perfect, very simple and stylish with everything you need. Lovely and clean with no weird smells, Brigitte uses all natural products and furnishings. The covered patio was great for all our meals and the house was lovely and cool. A very helpful and caring host, without being intrusive. It was lovely to come back to such a calm place after a day spent somewhere busy. I wish we could have stayed an extra week and definitely want to return.

We have spend 6 days in “Lavande”. We loved it! Cosy, a bit brocante, perfect outdoor space with bbq and comfortable seats.
Breath taking view from the terrace. Brigitte is a very nice host who respects your privacy and at the same time is always available for any questions and tips.
Large pool, comfortable sun beds, our two teenage girls loved that too!
Would definitely recommend this gite!

Tranquil and relaxing. Stylish house with every aspect well thought out. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was appreciated. Private section with lovely view over the countryside, the pool is really big (quite deep, so great for teenagers) and although the pool is shared, we only had one time where other guests arrived – just as we were finishing up. Good location – quiet, pretty villages in the area, and plenty of activities for families.

A real gem in the heart of Provence ! This gîte is absolutely stunning with its secluded location overlooking the majestic mountains and the sound of nature immersing the charming house and its terrace. Add to the a smartly designed living split on two floors, well equipped kitchen where one can prepare dishes from the findings on the local markets and beautiful swimming pool and you have a paradisiaque that is La Bastidonne! Enjoy the good life!

Gillian (Mas des Lavandes)

Lovely, comfortable house in beautiful surroundings . Mas des Lavandes is a charming, comfortable and well equipped holiday home in a picturesque and peaceful location. There are fantastic views from almost every window. We spent a really enjoyable 5 nights there over the October school holidays. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby and the house is an ideal place for exploring the stunning Luberon region. Although the pool was a little too cold to swim in due the fact it was late October, we enjoyed the Badminton court. The village of Cereste is just a very short drive away and has supermarkets, a butchers and on some evenings, a handy pizza van. Brigitte was a delightful and friendly host.
