Four attractive, detached Provençal houses standing independent of and well screened from each other. The four houses have breathtaking views of the Luberon hills and stand in a rural setting, 2 miles from the village of Céreste, looking south over fields to
the Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon (the magnificent range of hills where ‘Manon des Sources’ was filmed).
The parking lot of the lodgings is equipped with charging stations for electric cars

Le Mas des Lavandes and Le Mas du Luberon : Entry is from the garden side of the house over the covered terrace. Each house has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed (160 cm X 200 cm), the other with two beds, plus a bed-settee for two in the living room.
Le Mas de l’Olivier: Entry is from the garden side, the house has 3 bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with 2 beds.
Le Mas des Lavandes, Le Mas du Luberon and Le Mas de l’Olivier would be suitable for three families wishing to holiday together, yet retain some measure of independence; all three are also available for individual rent.
La Bastide 1830 : Entry is from the garden side of the house, the house can be rent for 2/3 or 4 bedrooms. (each bedroom has a private bathroom)
Excursions :
* An unusual sight are the ochre quarries of Roussillon just beyond Apt,exploited since Roman times.
* A must for budding astronomers is a visit to the Observatoire de Haute Provence near Forcalquier.
* Aix-en-Provence, a lively university town famous for its fountains, summer music festival and animated atmosphere.
* A short drive away, but still within easy reach, are some famous Provençal towns with emotive names: Avignon, Isle sur la Sorgue, Pernes les Fontaines and La Fontaine de Vaucluse.
* To the south of the Luberon range is the valley of the Durance, one of France’s foremost fruit producing regions.

A real gem in the heart of Provence ! This gîte is absolutely stunning with its secluded location overlooking the majestic mountains and the sound of nature immersing the charming house and its terrace. Add to the a smartly designed living split on two floors, well equipped kitchen where one can prepare dishes from the findings on the local markets and beautiful swimming pool and you have a paradisiaque that is La Bastidonne! Enjoy the good life!

An excellent place to relax and visit the Lubéron. We spent a very pleasant week at the Mas du Luberon. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is very well equipped: excellent WIFI connection; good kitchen and bathroom; well working fire place; very nice terrace. The location is perfect for a visit by car to the Lubéron in all directions. The site itself is calm and green, so you can easily stay on the spot to read and relax. It was too cold for us to swim but the swimming pool looks very nice.

Lovely, comfortable house in beautiful surroundings . Mas des Lavandes is a charming, comfortable and well equipped holiday home in a picturesque and peaceful location. There are fantastic views from almost every window. We spent a really enjoyable 5 nights there over the October school holidays. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby and the house is an ideal place for exploring the stunning Luberon region. Although the pool was a little too cold to swim in due the fact it was late October, we enjoyed the Badminton court. The village of Cereste is just a very short drive away and has supermarkets, a butchers and on some evenings, a handy pizza van. Brigitte was a delightful and friendly host.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! So peaceful and restful. The pool area with the view is incredible. So quiet with breathtaking views and sunshine, with a huge swimming pool to cool off in. The accommodation is great, and has everything you need. Brigitte is a wonderful host who chatted us through a local map and pointed out the best places to visit, with a list of recommended restaurants as well as a weekly schedule of all the local markets. Also very quick to respond to questions we had. We really appreciated this as would have struggled to find this information ourselves! The accommodation is great, with a good en-suite bedroom and comfy beds. Good location in the Luberon hills, with beautiful villages a short drive away. Would definitely recommend and will be sure to come back ourselves!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bridgette’s gite. It was a home away from home, so peaceful and beautiful. The house was well equipped and the bed upstairs was super comfy. Huge bathroom, great kitchen and living space. Bridgette had plenty of information on hand of the area and place to see and things to do. The pool was fabulous and the view to the mountain is beautiful. We explored many villages from here and went to a great market. Bridgette is a lovely lady, a great communicator and a fabulous host. We would highly recommend staying in this peaceful oasis.

We had a last minute change of plans and were fortunate to find this lovely gite where we spent a very happy week in the sun lazing around our private pool in this quiet and beautiful area. Brigitte and Jean Louis were the perfect hosts who were able to answer our many questions in English as unfortunately our French is not up to scratch! They were unobtrusive but always on hand if we needed anything. The accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean and has everything needed to live comfortably. Many thanks!

We had a great time at Brigitte’s house, a true gem in the Provence, quietly located, with an amazing view of the Luberon. The pool was an excellent distraction in the heat and we also enjoyed the shade on the house’s porch. The house is nicely located for trips west into the deeper Provence. We enjoyed Bonnieux and and the markets in Apt. There are some great fruit and vegetable stalls along the roads so fresh veggies are always at hand. Brigitte greeted us warmly and was helpful throughout our stay with local tips. We’d definitely come and stay here again!

It’s sounds cliched to write « our hosts were so welcoming », however, this is simply the case, l have not stayed at a more hospitable place. Brigitte and Jean-Louis are just great people that clearly enjoy life and helping people experience a great holiday. The property has stunning views for your morning coffee or evening wine. It’s also within driving distance from some amazing towns like lourmarin and Gordes. The house is very peaceful due to its location. Having a car I feel is a must. There is a nice pool on the property too. Cereste is a quiet town (very quiet) but Apt is about 15 mins away for groceries etc. There is a smaller supermarket in cereste so you won’t go without Brigitte is super quick to respond to help with anything you need. Recommend and would go back without question.

A perfect getaway for us and our 8 week old daughter. Very kind hosts and a stylish and homely house. Great views and walks. Ideal for our 2 nights. Cot and baby bath provided. Upstairs we pushed single beds together for us and she slept in mezzanine sofa bed room across the corridor so we weren’t on different floors, if with a baby monitor or a louder child, downstairs would have been fine for us, equally good if she was meant to be in the same room.
